Without information and analysis, it is very difficult to compete in any market. Any and all existing data in the market today, collected primarily from clients and distribution channels, is gold.”
Regardless of whether your company is large, medium, or small, it is necessary to understand that it is not the size that matters, but the understanding that success depends on your mission to meet the needs and desires of the customer seeking your products and services.
To remain alive and with longevity in the market, it is necessary for the organization to research itself, seeking to discover its competitive environment, and the habits, trends, and perceptions of customers, in order to allow two fundamental marketing strategies to be worked on: Segmentation and Positioning.
In conversation with the interviewee, Professor and Consultant Caetano Haberli Junior, precious marketing tips were presented, mainly focused on Segmentation, which is, basically, the definition of who your client is, and brand Positioning, that is, the space the company conquers in the minds of customers, leading them to loyalty. In this way, marketing makes it possible for ideas, goals, and objectives to be transformed into effective and assertive actions.
Another important aspect discussed, which is part of the marketing of the Company of the future – and why not say, of the present? –, was the need for analysis of data collected in surveys, whether quantitative or qualitative. We hear a lot about Big Data, that is, large databases, which are strongly linked to Artificial Intelligence (AI), but much of the data collected and stored in these bases are not analyzed and processed, making it impossible to obtain precise results that could leverage the company with segmentation and increased positioning. Well-used data fosters the ability to understand the market and the customer, in addition to enabling an “X-ray” of the company itself.
Much information was shared by the professional, seeking to share what is best and most current, so that the discussions gathered here “are worth gold”, in a way that the conversation conducted was defined: “at the end of the rainbow, you will find the pot of gold that will make all the difference in your daily life”.
