Who we are
The Estratégias e Soluções (E&S) Magazine is a publication of the Pecege Institute committed to the dissemination of qualified and multidisciplinary technical-scientific knowledge and engaged with sustainable development, innovation, and social transformation. It is a serial periodical, with continuous flow and broad coverage of topics within the major areas of Management and Education.
Our purpose is to connect theory and practice, promoting dialogue between different areas of knowledge, showcasing field experiences and applicable solutions to real challenges faced by professionals, organizations, and society in general. To this end, E&S brings together technical-scientific and analytical articles, opinion columns, and videocasts of interviews with specialists, researchers, and leaders who are at the forefront of relevant initiatives in their fields of expertise.
Our content curation prioritizes the depth of analyses, the diversity of perspectives, and the applicability of the ideas presented, always based on reliable data and theoretical grounding, seeking to help the reader understand contemporary challenges and proposing viable paths to solve them.
The target audience of E&S is composed of research institutions, universities, rural producers, entrepreneurs, consultants, managers, and others interested in the topics proposed by the magazine. Each edition has one to three technical editors, who are responsible for the publication’s content, article selection, and preparation of the magazine’s agendas.
The focus of each edition is the prerogative of the editor-in-chief, and the Editorial Board of Publications may re-evaluate and suggest a new focus, aiming at the dissemination of knowledge and technologies. Since 2024, the journal has also had an annual closed edition, bringing together the most accessed content of the period, exclusive interviews with specialists, and unprecedented contextual analyses. This initiative strengthens E&S’s institutional presence and broadens its reach to different audiences.
E&S Magazine is, therefore, a dynamic space for the collective construction of knowledge — accessible, critical, and committed to sharing solutions that generate positive impact. We believe that great transformations begin with good ideas, and therefore, we seek to highlight initiatives, experiences, and thoughts that inspire sustainable, innovative, and efficient changes.
Welcome and happy reading!
Our publications
Technical-scientific articles
The E&S Journal publishes original articles with theoretical, practical, or applied contributions in the areas of Management, Education, and topics related to thematic editions.
Works can enter through different editorial flows, including open calls, invited or previously selected works, and articles derived from MBA USP/Esalq final projects. Each modality has its own criteria and stages, detailed in the corresponding regulations and calls.
The journal also publishes conjuncture analyses, understood as interpretive texts on contemporary social, economic, organizational, or institutional issues, provided they present consistent argumentation and technical-scientific relevance.
The entire editorial process is free for authors and readers, in line with the journal’s commitment to open access and the dissemination of knowledge.
Interviews and series
In this section, E&S adopts a more dynamic and audience-friendly format, presenting interviews in a videocast format. The conversations cover professional trajectories, contemporary challenges, public policies, innovation, educational practices, and emerging themes. The videos are published monthly on the magazine’s YouTube channel.
In 2025, the documentary-style series “Inspiring Trajectories” was launched. This initiative seeks to record inspiring stories of successful people, organizations, and institutions, addressing the behind-the-scenes of building these trajectories. The episodes of the first season of the series feature the history of the Pecege Institute. Titled “Pecege Identity,” it narrates the beginning and consolidation of the institute, which completed 22 years in 2025. The episodes are also available on the magazine’s YouTube channel.
Columns
The columnists section brings together opinion pieces by volunteer professionals active in various market sectors, with a practical and sensitive view of contemporary transformations. Created with the objective of providing a knowledge dissemination service, the section contributes to the understanding of relevant topics through accessible and critical language. Each text contains 800 to 1,500 words, with continuous publications.
