I have a term paper, can I submit it?
Yes. The content can be leveraged, but it needs to be adapted to the journal's standards.
Does the journal have Qualis?
Yes. Since the 2021–2024 Capes quadrennial evaluation, the E&S Journal has had the Qualis B4 classification.
Is there a specific deadline for submission?
No. Submissions can be made throughout the year. However, article submissions are temporarily closed, with no forecast for reopening at the moment.
Are there costs to publish?
No. The entire process (submission, review, editing, and publication) is free of charge.
Can I submit the same article to another journal at the same time?
The same article cannot be under simultaneous review in two journals. But it is possible to submit different articles to distinct journals.
Is the E&S Journal registered?
Yes, the journal has an ISSN, and each article receives an identification number (DOI), which guarantees international recognition.

Prepare your manuscript
Adjust the text according to the required standards.

Gather the authors' information
- Up to five authors per article.
- In works derived from TCC, dissertation, or thesis, the inclusion of the advisor is mandatory.
- Check if name, email, and affiliation are correct.

Fill out the form
Enter the requested data and upload the manuscript in Word.

Wait for the editorial team's feedback
The article will undergo initial screening, peer review, and editing.

Editorial process
After submission, the article undergoes an initial screening to verify if it meets the journal’s standards.
Next, it is sent for peer review, a stage where specialists may request adjustments.
After approval, the manuscript goes through editing and editorial preparation.
Finally, the article is formatted and published with a DOI.
On average, the entire process takes about six months, also depending on the agility in the responses of authors and reviewers.
