The new profile of the professional of the future
“Technology does not work alone; it is people and technology that will do increasingly productive and differentiated work”
The job market is undergoing an accelerated process of specialization. New fields of activity emerge all the time, driven by technological evolution. The news is good, because it heralds the emergence of more job opportunities. On the other hand, this also signals that constant professional updating is no longer just important: it is extremely urgent!
According to career specialists, the professions of the future have something in common: the involvement of technology and automation. The digital age has already invaded all areas – not even the arts were left out. Therefore, there is no escape: those seeking a job or redeployment in the market from now on will need to develop skills related to the technological area.
In the opinion of the CEO of the Pecege Institute, Daniel Sonoda, technologies are changing rapidly, which requires solid knowledge in the area, but not exclusively. “Technology doesn’t work alone; people and technology will do increasingly productive and differentiated work,” he said during this interview for Revista Estratégias e Soluções (E&S), from Editora Pecege, citing the importance of not neglecting human connections and training in management areas.
“It is very interesting to talk about the professional of the future, who, in fact, is the professional of the present,” stated Sonoda, who is also the director of Faculdade Pecege. Click below to watch the interview, conducted by presenter Juliana Nouer, in which the CEO shared some of his expertise on the art of integrating technology into the business world and revealed some spoilers regarding the new degree in Digital Business from Faculdade Pecege, which starts its classes later this year.
