Public Competition is the target of many people seeking professional and financial stability. If you identify with this topic, we have valuable tips for you to achieve your goal through the experience of a professional who spent a large part of his life working as a Federal Revenue Auditor and worked as a public competition Professor“
According to data from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, responsible for the organizing committee and the stages of the competition for the Federal Revenue, more than 150,000 people registered for the 699 vacancies for Auditor-Fiscal and Tax Analyst in recent months.
The high numbers of participants are justified by the good salaries offered. But this marathon to achieve a position requires daily discipline, time management, and nervousness control when taking the test.
To give you an idea, sometimes we have about 16 subjects to study, and on average, the degree of difficulty is found in topics such as economics, mathematics, and accounting. Therefore, it is necessary to prioritize time to delve into understanding the subject matter, although all disciplines must be studied.
Tips are always welcome during the exam; we have about two minutes to answer each question, so marking questions by difficulty level and answering them in order of greatest ease can help manage time and maintain composure.
Another factor that interferes with the best result is to maintain a good night’s sleep, arrive in advance, and bring some snacks to eat in the middle of this whole process.
Getting to know the day-to-day life of a professional like a Federal Revenue Auditor is also a differential for you to reach your goal and achieve fulfillment in your profession. That’s why I invite you to watch this interview with Mr. Silvério das Neves, who worked as a Federal Revenue Tax Auditor and is currently a Tax Consultant and Professor of the MBA USP ESALQ in Tax Management Courses.
